Dr. Ragg is an internationally recognized expert in vascular medicine with unparalleled experience from over 100,000 non-surgical procedures. He is the founder and chief physician of the angioclinic® vein centers in Berlin, Munich, and Zurich. As a phlebologist and physicist, he has been actively involved in the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in vascular medicine for 25 years. He developed the vein-preserving hyaluronic acid therapy (“internal compression”), the invisible and imperceptible film compression bandage, the Biomatrix sclerosing foam, modern vein adhesives, and optimized laser procedures for medical and aesthetic purposes. All therapeutic procedures aim for long-lasting success, safety, and painlessness.

Dr. Sebastian Kreis, MD, is a General Practitioner FMH and a specialist in General Medicine (D) with a doctorate in Phlebology. He has collaborated scientifically with Dr. Ragg for many years and is an Attending Physician at the angioclinic® Vein Center Zurich.

Simon Grzelachowski has been Dr. Ragg’s right-hand man for 13 years. He is a certified Phlebology Assistant (Phlebological Training Academy of the German Society of Phlebology) and a medical assistant. He masters and teaches assistance for all phlebological procedures. For five years, he has been an angioclinic® trainer for newly trained doctors. Simon Grzelachowski supports the angioclinic® teams in Berlin, Munich, and Zurich.

Birgit Marquardt has been a member of the management board of the angioclinic® Vein Centers since 2005. In Zurich, she has been responsible for patient management, special requests, and quality control since 2007.
