We determine your vein status with high-quality ultrasound systems, including the latest MINDRAY/ZONARE®. A specialty of angioclinic® vein diagnostics is that it distinguishes between healthy and diseased veins with particular precision. The goal is to eliminate the cause of the vein disease AND preserve as many important veins as possible. Of course, it should also look aesthetically perfect afterwards.

The stress in daily life consists of rest and activity. We therefore always examine both according to an examination scheme developed by Dr. Ragg, based on 250,000 examinations. This special diagnostic also reliably identifies veins that can regress and be treated without intervention. This allows for a much more exact therapy planning and often a complete healing of previously diseased veins.

Based on Dr. Ragg’s latest research, angioclinic® vein diagnostics can now also detect veins with incipient damage that will only show reflux many years later. That’s decades before overloaded veins become varicose veins! Varicose veins are preventable! With the new technology (high-resolution broadband ultrasound), first-class early detection and prevention are possible, as never before. This service is currently only available in Switzerland at the angioclinic Vein Center Zurich available.

We would be happy to show you your veins in a way that helps you understand their function. You will learn what you can do yourself to prevent or alleviate vein weakness. All diagnostic and medical services for endoluminal techniques (laser, radiofrequency) have been mandatory services since 2016 and are billed via TARMED .
