How Long Does Varicose Vein Treatment Take?
Even the most complicated leg can be fully and thoroughly treated in our Vein Center in Zurich in about 30 minutes for all vein problems, such as varicose veins or spider veins, provided you have a highly trained team, as we do in Zurich. However, preparations are required, which can also take more than another 30 minutes to complete. This includes answering questions before the procedure, a careful ultrasound examination with marking of important
points on the skin and hygienic preparation, so that we continue to have 0% infections.
Finally, special aftercare requests (e.g., Venartis C-Film instead of compression stockings) can take 5–15 extra minutes. So please allow 90 minutes for varicose vein treatments in Zurich, and 45 minutes for purely aesthetic procedures, to ensure there’s no rush in your schedule.
