I view venous problems differently than most of my colleagues. Not because I know best. But in my 25 years of research, I was the first to identify and prove the causes of most venous problems: Congenital venous valve defects, which can still be clearly identified decades later, and three entirely different additional causes. No two legs are alike.
Unlike the “usual” and rather monotonous therapies involving surgery, standard heat catheters, and compression stockings, I can address the underlying causes specific to each patient. I can identify many future problems before they occur, and I can prevent them: Varicose veins are 100% preventable. Many cases of thrombosis show signs years in advance and are also preventable.
Treating veins without knowing the cause is like pulling out weeds without caring about the roots. That’s why the problems often recur quickly. That shouldn’t be the case for our patients.
I focus on a comprehensive investigation of the causes, followed by a targeted, natural therapy. That is also the secret to our aesthetic therapies, which always include micro-ultrasound (millimeter range!) and often techniques of “augmented reality”, to first address the causes and then sustainably and naturally normalize the appearance.
