We determine your vein status with high-quality ultrasound systems, including the latest MINDRAY/ZONARE®. A speciality of angioclinic® vein diagnostics is that it distinguishes between healthy and diseased veins with particular precision. The aim is to end the cause of the venous disease and to preserve as many important veins as possible. Of course, it should also look perfect on the outside.

The strain in daily life consists of rest and activity. Therefore, we always examine the two according to an examination scheme developed by Dr Ragg on the basis of 250,000 examinations. This special diagnostic procedure also reliably detects veins that can be regressed and treated without intervention. This enables much more precise therapy planning and often the correct healing of previously diseased veins.

Based on the latest research by Dr Ragg, angioclinic® vein diagnostics now also detects veins with incipient damage, which will not show a reflux for many years to come. These are decades before overstrained veins become varicose veins. Varicose veins can be avoided: with the new technology (high-resolution broadband ultrasound) a first-class early detection and prevention is possible, as it did not exist so far. This service is currently only available in Switzerland at the angioclinic® Vein Center Zurich.

We would be happy to show you your veins in such a way that you understand their function. You will learn what you can do yourself to prevent or alleviate venous insufficiency. And if a vein requires medical treatment, we will explain to you all the possibilities of achieving this goal painlessly, with lasting effect and aesthetically optimal. All diagnostic and medical services of the endoluminal techniques (laser, radio wave) have been mandatory since 2016 and are billed via TARMED.
